eLearning Program Development and Management

Overview

The online, membership-based training program known as the BossBetter Leadership Academy (BBLA) was developed to serve the needs of C-suite and middle managers in a variety of industries. I created the microlearning content in bite-sized, convenient, easy-to-consume modules. The lessons are actionable learning content with supportive resources that can be built into existing meetings.

I developed this training program using a combination of models for the creation and implementation of this program: the ADDIE model for high-level program development and SAM for recurring program development needs.

Features

  • Participants receive a new micro-learning module each month. The topics are scheduled quarterly and come from participant suggestions. Each video lesson is between 5 and 30 minutes and includes a discussion guide (to be used during team meetings) and other downloadable resources.

    The dripped monthly content is asynchronous, but there are scheduled coaching calls that serve as synchronous learning. These calls are conducted via Zoom and the recordings are uploaded to the platform for viewing at any time.

  • The BBLA utilizes Kajabi as the training platform. This allows many companies to have participants on the same platform at once without registration complications.

    Participants are able to watch the training modules in either the browser-based application or via phone app. Participants enjoy this flexibility.

  • Twice a year, the BBLA hosts a half-day live virtual summit which includes four guest speakers from different industries and specialties. These live virtual events are free for BBLA members but are offered at a cost to non-BBLA participants.

    The virtual summit sessions are uploaded as BBLA content at the conclusion of the event.
